Web design with Dreamweaver teaches the student how to refine and develop visual design skills, understand CSS and XHTML markups and how to understand accessibility and usability. You also learn about design systoles and web development software and Adobe Dreamweaver. Before taking this course, you need to know how to operate a computer and files, how to install fonts, plug-ins and software. You also need to know how to research and navigate the web.

Web Production Management teaches you about media production and planning. You will learn to construct a media project and how to prepare a budget. You also learn the legal issues of the media project to avoid any infringement laws. Digital Imaging with Photoshop teaches you how to use the software in web design and how to create animations and rollover effects for the web.

After completing your associate degree in web design, you will be ready for a career as a web designer, web developer, network consultant or a network analyst. Small and large companies look for web designer's right out of college to develop and design their company websites and to develop Internet media strategies.
